We take huge pride in the food we serve and our Head Chef Phil Bartley insists on using only the finest British produce to create our ever changing menus.


We have just reintroduced our beautifully crafted Pub Classics and  Bistro menus due to requests from our customers!  #BISTROISBACK


Selections from these menus are available alongside our fabulous Sunday Roasts are avaialbe every Sunday.  Booking is recommeded as we tend to get very busy!


Extending further our Deli Board menu is also very popular, particularly for sharing with a group  An extensive charcuterie range combined with some of the best local & British cheeses available.

At Hove Place we believe strongly in anmial welfare and only use traditionally farmed free range meats, eggs and sustainable caught fish.


All of our beef is bred in Sussex and comes from slow growing rare breeds and is hung for a minimum of 35 days by our local butcher Barfields.


All of our pork comes from free range pigs who live a happy life on top of the South Downs looked after by Plantation Pigs, the first free range pork farmer.


All our lamb comes from Standean farm in Patcham and is butchered & supplied by their own shop based in Hassocks.


Our fish is supplied by MBC seafood's and we use sustainably caught fish landed fresh by day boats out of Newhaven.             Visit our Suppliers page for details...
